About the App

Welcome is a custom welcome screen app for iOS, macOS, and tvOS. Edit titles, backgrounds, and display content on iOS or macOS, sync via iCloud, and show them full screen on your TV. You can also use daily inspirational quotes on tvOS.

Getting Started

• iOS / macOS: Edit your welcome screen, tap Apply to save, then upload to iCloud from Settings & Sync.
• tvOS: The App shows daily recommendations by default. Tap the cloud button to download customized content from iCloud.
• Same iCloud account: Sign in to the same Apple ID in System Settings on each device for sync to work.

FAQ

• Content not syncing to TV? Edit and apply your content on iOS or macOS, upload to iCloud in Settings, then tap the cloud download button on tvOS.
• Seeing daily recommendations instead of custom content? tvOS shows local daily picks by default. Switch to iCloud download to display your uploaded content.
• Cannot choose a background image? Allow Welcome to access Photos in System Settings (iOS), or choose a local image file (macOS).
• Sign in with Apple vs. iCloud? Sign in with Apple is for in-app account management. Cross-device sync uses your system iCloud account. They can be configured independently.
• Language? The App follows your system language. You can also switch between Chinese and English from the home screen language toggle on iOS and macOS.
